A space for healing,
growth, and
becoming.

Therapy and psychiatric medication management for individuals, couples, and families.

In-Person & Telehealth
Welcome

You don't have to navigate
life's challenges alone.

Life doesn't always unfold the way we expect. There are moments when something feels uncertain — when relationships shift, loss reshapes us, or we no longer feel quite like ourselves.

At Tru Chrysalis, we create a space to pause, reflect, and reconnect with yourself. Together, we explore the experiences and patterns that have shaped you, while making room for what is unfolding beneath the surface. This work is about making room — for understanding, for growth, and for whatever comes next.

Whether you are experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, trauma, or simply feeling stuck or disconnected, we are here to walk alongside you.

What our name means

"Tru" represents the part of you that remains beneath life's experiences — your inner sense of knowing, your capacity for self-trust, and your ability to make meaning from what you've lived.

"Chrysalis" represents those in-between seasons — when what was familiar no longer fits, and something new is quietly taking shape. These moments can feel uncertain. They can also be the beginning of something meaningful.

Together, the name reflects what we believe about this work: that even in the hardest seasons, there is something true in you worth discovering.

Kau Queeglay
Psychotherapist
Kau Queeglay
LPCC, LADC

Kau approaches therapy with the belief that meaningful change begins with understanding the experiences that have shaped us and recognizing the strengths we already possess. She understands that life's challenges can leave people feeling stuck, disconnected, or overwhelmed, and she is intentional about creating a space where each person feels genuinely seen, understood, and supported.

Her approach is collaborative and grounded in an awareness of how life experiences continue to shape the present. She believes that growth happens through a combination of insight and purposeful action, allowing change to feel both meaningful and sustainable.

As a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor, Kau works with adolescents, adults, and couples. She supports individuals navigating anxiety, depression, grief and loss, substance use and recovery, relationship challenges, racialized experiences, identity exploration, and major life transitions. She also works with those seeking a stronger sense of purpose, self-confidence, and personal fulfillment.

Kau's therapeutic style balances compassion with curiosity, thoughtful reflection, and honest feedback. She values authenticity in the therapeutic relationship and believes that meaningful, sustainable change is often built through small, consistent shifts over time. Her goal is to help individuals deepen self-understanding, strengthen resilience, and move beyond surviving toward creating a life that feels aligned, intentional, and fulfilling.

Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
Miriam Ingutia
PMHNP-BC, FNP-C

Miriam brings a simple but powerful belief to every appointment: that every person deserves care that is truly individualized — care that listens first, respects what matters to you, and builds a plan around your life, not a template.

As a psychiatric nurse practitioner, she specializes in psychiatry, substance use disorder, and medication management for older teens (16+), adults, and older adults. She approaches each person as a whole — acknowledging the unique circumstances, beliefs, and experiences that shape their mental health — and provides compassionate, client-centered care that extends to families as well.

Miriam's clinical style is grounded in accountability and authenticity. She is direct when she needs to be and deeply compassionate always — a steady, knowledgeable presence who advocates for her clients even when navigating complex systems feels overwhelming.
